So, your business is hosting the annual Customer Appreciation Golf Outing or annual Subdivision Golf Outing, etc., with the anticipation that a golf outing brings, keep in mind that if you are the host, you also can set the tone of the outing. Adding the perfect promotional products can give your event that added value.

So, how else can I use imprinted items!

My last blog was a little introduction and some thoughts on marketing and budgets.  In addition to marketing, promotional products are used in so many more ways.  Take for example the "save the date" promotional items that newly engaged couples send out to their friends and families to announce their upcoming nuptials.

This is a "save the date" item that one of my friend's brides decided to use.... she mailed quite a few to folks that she did not live close enough so that she could hand deliver.  The rest she gave to friends and family during the holidays.

Back to Marketing .... with promotional products!

So....... I started my new blog Find Promotions by promochiq  (the @promochiq is my twitter account) with 2 posts on weddings.  Why?  Because this is the season for weddings and I was getting more questions about wedding ideas for favors and take home presents from my facebook page.  I was starting to get work and orders for things like.....

So back to marketing...  As a marketing professional with years and years of experience, I have helped and advised many new business on marketing and getting their business off on the right foot.  Every business need to have a marketing plan, be it small or large depends on your business and of course your budget.  But with that said, every business has to have a marketing/advertising budget.  Now where to put that budget and how much to allow?   A new small business could allow perhaps $100 to $150 per quarter to market to their potential customers.  How to market and what kind of advertising????

Yes.... Spring arrived finally and Summer is on her way..........So are weddings, showers, receptions and more!

With weddings at the top of the seasons list, what is the perfect wedding.  Every brides's dream from childhood is to have the most beautiful wedding.  Something special, spectacular, memorable.... the wedding of weddings that no one will forget.  Yes it does put pressure on the bride and yes we do it to ourselves (every bride knows this).

So what do brides want?  What are the latest trends? What do you consider the "perfect" wedding?

We know what the bride wants, and based on her personality is pretty much what she's going to look for in wedding theme, banquet/party location, food, etc.  For shower planners, there are lots of ideas for that southern belle bride, the cosmopolitan bride, or the cowgirl bride.
